Groups & Coach Tours

The Heights has been a popular group destination for over 200 years. Join us for a fascinating day out.

Groups of 12 or more can qualify for discounted admission in one of two ways: 

  1. Individuals who arrive by coach or bus can simply show their travel ticket at the cable car ticket office to obtain £5 off per person. (You must have a valid travel ticket or receipt for the same day as your visit to qualify). No pre-booking required, simply pay on the day.
  2. Coach tours and larger groups should pre-book using the booking form below, and thereby qualify for special group ticket rates. (Adults £18-00 and Children between the ages of 4 and 15 inclusive £12-00 , under 4's free). Payment is required on the day of your visit.

This year we are offering groups of 20 or more the opportunity to upgrade their visit to include a meet and greet with our living history actors, which includes an overground guided tour. Information for Coach Drivers

  • If you are arranging a stop-off in Matlock Bath, we recommend you use the Derbyshire Dales District Council coach parking facilities at the Matlock Bath railway station. You can pay to park upon arrival. Sat nav location: DE4 3NT
  • Bring your coach parking ticket receipt to the Heights Ticket office and we'll be happy to refund you for your free parking, and arrange hospitality for you, when your passengers board the cable cars. 
  • We recommend that you allow at least three hours for your guests to experience a cavern tour and visit the other facilities and exhibitions at the summit.
